2 Non paying bidder strikes and they will find themselves blocked to buying from many sellers

sherbie - I think you may have opened yourself up to receive a Non performing seller strike.

the thing is, they usually pay as soon as you report em, so nowt happens, thats what i meant. i was in a hurry! doh!:o also, it takes alot to get buyers thrown off ebay, and people know that. lil sellers end up getting all stressed over stuff, and for me its not worth it anymore.:(

i dont actually care if the above happens to be honest! ive been with ebay from the very start, and the ol days are gone now. :( i did live chat with ebay prior to filing a non paying bidder, after they had paid, before refunding, and after to cancel the transaction, thats when they refunded the final value fee. i copied all transcripts, so if i get a strike its still better than the potential hassle this buyer couldve caused me! i didnt feel good about this buyer, and when ive ignored that in the past ive lost out, to the tune of over £100. i trust my gut now. id advise anyone to do the same. ure gut obv, not mine. tho mine is big enuff to share! :)
    :hello:
  • My ex-boss won the bonus ball at work and has asked for it to be split between his staff so that will be roughly £50. Won't add it yet as will only get the money next week but will bring my total to £430

Hi, all, Just a question really; do people incude what they have saved in other challenges towards this total too??
I know it seems like a daft question, but I havent counted in the money in my coin jar or saved as store vouchers for xmas.
Also I have got £5.40 on an a*azon gift card, waiting for them to credit it with another £5 for trading in 2 books at weekend.
Also waiting to hear from z*apper about my books too.

I am new to selling stuff on e*ay, but I find it a bit stressful. I getr really worried about negative feedback, even though I know the items are described acurately. You hear so much about people not being paid or getting unfair feedback.
I only ever had problems with buying twice, each time from a company, on both occassions, I emailed them and they called me up and it got sorted. I was happy with the way it was handled and the outcome was good. I left feedback that reflected this. Unfortunately, some people just seem to be trying to get something for free or arn't very honest.:(

In terms of the amount to include in challenges, it is up to you really I guess. No-one will look down on you if you include the amount saved in other challenges in this one. At the end of the day, you are saving this money/ taking part in these challenges for yourself, so do whatever makes you feel happy/ challenged :D

Regarding eBay, I wouldn't worry about negative feedback, as long as you list your items as accurately as possible, you are not going to get many negatives, maybe just the odd one. But as long as you respond to their negative comments with facts, other buyers won't be put off. Finally, it is often we only hear about the bad things and hardly ever the good ones, so there are more transactions that goes smoothly on eBay than ones that turn sour, so don't worry.

  • WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I was expecting a big tax rebate but not this big £577 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THe Italy fund is looking more like pavement trattoria with bottle of chianti and fresh pizza with the best sunset in town! I can feel it now.

Now it is renamed the Italy fund, the whole family is getting in on it. OH handed over( through gritted teeth lol) his £30 amazon voucher and DD is enthusiastically clearing out old toys and clothes for the Ebay pile.

Talking of which last year free listing weekend was every 3 weeks I think, so suspect it will be this weekend when Im away. Hope Im wrong, as I have it all photographed and ready to go.

And cashback on its way, OH bank interest and amazon sale on its way. This ship is finally under steam and making headway

Total in the account £653 ( like others I am only counting the real pennies saved by all crafty means available as that will meet my own personal target ( Italy) . last month was a shock to find I'd saved loads but still spent up, wheras this month am living on fresh air and have hopes for the end of the month. So Ive not counted £10 voucher,£30 voucher, freebies , bargains galore )
