Just been phoned by a number of 02086200236 which sounded dodgy as they asked me if I wanted to reclaim bank charges and asked for account details which I told them were to go.
After I googled the number and found this:
http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/02086200236
So just some advise if this number appears just ignore the call, apparently they are charging £49.99 to recover bank charges from you when can just use Martins advice and do it yourself for free !!0 -
Do yourself a massive favour and give bank-smart a very wide berth... I signed up with them in Feb 2007, since then they have done very little in respect of claiming my charges back, but are very good at sending out invoices. The one account they have had settled for me they are refusing to send me my settlement cheque because I am in dispute with them over their lack of action on other claims.
Complete bunch of ambulance chasing unprofessional rip off merchants. I would like to be more coarse but I appreciate we are on a public forum!
Take the advice on offer on here DIY I wish I had..0 -
Thanks, will avoid them if they are useless. Hope your situation gets sorted.

I have just had a call from the same number offering this service. I've googled the number and it seems that a lot of people are having problems with calls from this company.0 -

I myself made a claim for around £2000 with bank-smart in March 2007,and apart from a letter requesting a few details for the FOS,ive heard NOTHING.
No communication at all!
I had a phone number at one stage but gave up calling it as it nobody answered and I think eventually the telephone number stopped working completely. The website login status has'nt changed in months and ive no idea what happening??
Can anybody tell me what the situation is at present RE: the test case?
Also....what should I do next?
(Really wish id done it myself and im sure it would of been sorted alot quicker)0
