Anyone else find their heart beat a little faster at receiving a letter from Halifax this morning in the post? Serves me right as I did and excitedly ripped it open to find it was a letter offering me a loan!

I haven't had a letter with a loan offer..but would have felt the same.
I'm surprised no one - has admitted to - winning more than £100.

    I've been wondering that too.

I`ve just done it again although it says "only one accepted".
    First registered last November.
No harm done to make sure, they do offer a text to confirm but no mention of an email.

I'd love to know how many extra savings accounts have been opened with Halifax on the back of this wonderful opportunity to win £100k !!!!

Don't forget the number of registrants has now gone up from 250,000 in Oct 11 to 630,000 now. So even with the number of prizes goes up from 1,103 to 1,110, the chances of winning any prize has actually been coming down from 1 in 227 in Dec 11 to 1 in 571 now!

The letter saying that you win a prize will be sent by Recorded Delivery. So it didn't bother me at all the slightest when I got the letter offering me 0% balance transfer on my Halifax credit card. It could be just a statement or any other marketing material.

I've just registered for the prize draw too, but just before the start of April, really excited about it! But i keep on worrying if they have registered me properly for the draw, although i got a text message confirmation. I am tempted to register again just to make sure....

If you got confirmation you should be fine.

Their terms and conditions says that anyone can ask for the list of winners over the last 6 months. Has anyone done this?

I am tempted as sometime recorded mail gets returned to sender where I live. so might have missed out.
