Halifax Monthly Draw
Comments
-
Draw is supposed to be within 3 working days, and people notified within one month, if possible, by recorded letter.0

Does it include ISA accounts? I cant find it in the t & cs?
Yes, it did, but you had to register for the draw. I received a confirmation text.
You have to have been registered for one full month before you are eligible for the draw.
(Apologies, just seen that you have indeed registered).0 -

I was in my local branch today paying my credit card & the lady didn't seem to know when the draw would take place. You'd think they'd be shouting it from the rooftops or have it in an ad instead of those bloody choir ads on just about every ad-break there is.
Anyway, i've registered via my isa & i've got the confirmation text as well.
This "...full list of winners, available on request for six months after the draw.."
If i win i may want to keep it private, i take it then that i can't do that..?0 -
I was told by my local branch yesterday that this month's (Dec 11) draw would have taken place anytime between 2nd and 5th of the month, with letters being posted to prize winners between 9th and 20th of the month. They have not had the list of prize winners (showing name and county) yet.0

Still a smidgeon of hope then!
Hope someone here does win.0 -

With a quarter of a million customers already registered (as at end of October) and just 1103 prizes altogether, I'm not getting my hopes up too high!0 -
Thats probably still better odds then the national lottery and its free?0

Well well well, having enrolled my two grandparents and my Mum last month.... my Mum today received a letter from Halifax (sent recorded delivery, so she had to sign for it).
Inside it said that she was a "lucky winner" in this months prize draw and to claim she MUST visit her "local" (14 miles away) branch along with two 2 forms of ID.
There was an 0845 number to call but it stated that they "would not be able to provide any details of prizes over the telephone"
Let's see what happens....0
