but I'd like to clear up a misconception there seems to be on here:
Having worked in a Vivarium for a couple of years I can tell you snakes which were given to us having refused to eat dead food (and the owners found it too distasteful to feed them live food) were easily induced to eat the dead food by it being jiggled about a bit or warmed up. Throw a defrosted mouse into a cage and its no wonder they won't eat.
.
you've not really cleared anything up to be fair.
Just because some of the snakes you got in fed after a bit of coaxing doesn't mean you've solved the mystery of none feeding snakes. you can't suddenly get a none feeding snake to start eating just by wiggling it about.
There are multiple reasons why they might not have eaten and 'because they didn't wiggle it about', is pretty low on the list!0 -
You are only comparing the kitten which was fed to the python, not the abuse and suffering the other 3 kittens (and possibly more) went through, those kittens were killed for pleasure by some sicko. Theres a huge difference, the kittens were killed for pleasure, the animals in the slaughterhouse are killed for food.
The guy is still sick and the other 2 vids are in a league of there own.
Animals that are killed for food are not always treated with respect and are not always killed in the best way.
This thread is doing my box in now.
ill just say once more the guy is sick in ALL 3 VIDS (just incase you have missed it in my posts)0 -

No I have not missed anything in your posts. I am asking how you can compare this sicko killing animals for fun/pleasure to those who kill animals in a slaughterhouse.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
To be honest there is a comparison whether it's acceptable or not.
For either you have to be de-sensitised to the 'victim'. People working in a slaughter house can't do the job if they're not desensitised to what they're doing, they can no longer see the animal as an animal (which is probably why some find it so easy to abuse them before the slaughter), it's a tool of their job. The same goes for 'people' like the one in the video; to them kittens aren't a cute fluffy animal that people love as pets, it's just food for their snake. Because it's food they treat it like a comodity that has no value except to feed the snake.0 -

food chain ....food chain
NOT slaughterman and sicko(and if you want a comparison scheming_gypsy has just come up with one)
comparison is with the food chain0 -
The kittens that were drowned and suffocated were not killed for food so there is no comparison between this sicko and slaughtermen. The sicko is just finding more ways to kill the poor kittens, he is not killing them for food but for fun and pleasure.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

Yes thats correct.....who said the kittens that were DROWNED had any comparison to the food chain???0 -
You are comparing this sicko with slaughtermen. How can he be compared to slaughtermen who kill animals for FOOD when he is killing animals for FUN AND PLEASURE!A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

Are you reading the same posts as me ???
Forget for a moment he is a sicko(just for a second)....I think we all agree on that.
The snake killed the kitten. The guy gave the snake food.
The slaughterman kills the cow. The slaughterman gives you food.(ok tesco)
Do you get it ???
Its a perception, a comparision....
There are many ways of looking at things.
The drowning of the kittens. Yes its sick. Again forget he is a sicko.(go on just for a second, you can do it). If you are going to kill a kitten there are better ways too do it. EG. the vets(btw i am not comparing the vets to the sicko)0 -

you're missing the comparison. As he uses them as food they're not potential pets, but food.
After they've been drowned they were probably fed to the snake or another reptile pet. The comparison is that they have no emotional attachment to the animal as it has another purpose.
Take the Koreans and dogs, to us they're mans best friend but to them they're food.
Then there's cows. To Hindu's they're worshipped and not to be eaten but to other religions, they're food.
I'm not saying that he should abuse the kittens, but that like slaughtermen, there's no emotional attachment.0
