Yes same for me. However is it actual anyworse than the abuse we inflict on our own food. Just cause its bred for food does not make it fair.
I agree, I don't think anyone here has said it is fair to slaughter animals because they are bred for food - just that it is done in a humane way (or we like to think). It's still upsets me how and why animals are killed but we can't do anything to stop animals being slaughted, being a vegetarian won't stop it so why stop eating meat?
As long as I didn't see the animal/s being killed before it ended up on my plate then I will eat meat - I couldn't go into a butchers and purchase meat though, it upsets me.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0
