  • Sorry If I've posted this is the wrong section but I can't find where to start a new Post !!! I'm fairly new at this as I've not posted for a few years.

Halifax have offered me £4500 refund in PPI do I accept this offer as it's the first offer they have made and also because I'm in a debt plan with payplan will they send me a cheque or will it be taken of my my outstanding balance. Any advice is appreciated.

    Thank you.

If the figures match up then yes ie. you have been refunded the ppi total cost and the interest from the ppi at the rate of the loan and then 8% interest on top of that then that is the correct redress payment ;).

as for the payplan i dont know im afraid ;) but im sure someone will ;)

Offer letter 12 september 2011....still waiting for this re-cal letter and my payment!

    So annoyed now.

I really don't understand the way Lloyds are paying out. People with letters after mine have been sorted....why am I still waiting. :(

    Seems very odd.

    Well done :j:j
They offer full redress,as Marksman said.
With regards the payplan,i think this redress can be taken towards that, were Halifax included in this?.
Give them a ring and ask, then you will know for sure.
