  • Just seems awfully odd how they start to pay out the day after they announce Q3 revenue, having already set aside the amount they're going to pay out in Q3 (therefore it doesn't go against Q4). I reckon they'll pay out to everyone in the next week or so, clear it all down and then keep trickling them through as they come in. Otherwise they're going to have to report the loss in Q4, and it's always better to report that you're on an up at the end of the financial year than it is to report a loss.

really hope your right on this dont know about you but i really want this money asap to spend on xmas

I've rung Lloyds (again) about my refund on my credit card, offer letter 12th Sept. They are trying to find out wether it's been sent or not - can't possibly talk straight to someone who knows - will ring me back when they find out as are concerned it may been lost in the post!! (bashes head against wall!)

Great for everyone who has been paid, but it really cheeses me off that offers that were sent out back end of September have been paid out, but I got my offer letter on August 16th and still nothing. They have a bizarre way of doing things

Whoop whoop, just checked my Lloyds TSB account and they have paid my repayment via BACS into my saving account. It's only around half of the original offer so im assuming that the rest will come via Cheque. They also appear to have not restructured my loan yet and it's still showing as having PPI, but im assuming it will all come out in the was over the next couple of days.

Thanks to everyone for there help!!

  • My bf has been waiting for over 3 months for his PPI refund.

He spoke to Lloyds the other day asking why it was so late and if there would be interest added for the length of time waiting for the cheque.

According to the woman from Lloyds PPI dept he spoke to, the reason why there is delays is because apparently they have recruited a whole new department dealing with PPI repayments and the whole department needs to be trained, etc. (!!!) so that's why it has taken so long.

Good news is that they have issued what looks like a blanket letter (bf received one today) stating that interest will be paid up to the end of this month and payments are now priority and will be paid into Lloyds current account or issued with a cheque if you don't hold an account with them any longer. Bf was paid his today (into his bank account and not by cheque like first agreed) so I think they're sorting them out. Taken them long enough though.

Might be worth while keeping an eye on your bank account in case they've paid it into there without letting you know.
  • My calculations letter was 18/8/11 and have been paid the settled loans but still awaiting the open loan payment. No re-structuring or re-calculating letter either.

I am annoyed because yesterday I read that someone on this forum had received offer letters dated 22nd September (same date as mine) and had been paid yesterday; when I checked my bank account yesterday and this morning I haven't been paid. I have also read posts where people have received offer letters dated after mine and have also been paid. Lloyds say they are not paying people out of sequence but they seem to be doing just that.

Today is week 7 for me and I am wondering whether I will get my money back before week 8.
  • Hey Everyone I have just logged on to internet banking and I have finally received the second payment from Lloyds. A grand total of £17k so this nightmare is finally done (I hope!). Thank you everyone for your help because it was on MSE that I got all my advice and help. I wish everyone the best with their fight with Lloyds. For your info, claim went in May 2011, Upheld August 2011, Offer letter 16th Sept 2011, BACs transfer 9th Nov for £11.9k, recalc letter 9th November final payment of £5.1k 10th November!! Phew. I have a small claim with the AA but I'm not even thinking about that until after Xmas!!! Good luck, keep fighting!
