Hi Folks,
You'll have to excuse me if I'm not posting in the correct place, but this is the first time I've actually logged on to MSE and posted on this forum. I thought, rather than just reading through pages and pages to see if anyone has experienced the same issues as me (which I'm almost certain a lot of you have!) I would post and see what the responses were like.
So, my story is this..... I originally sent a claim to LLoyds TSB about 14 weeks ago, relating to 3 separate loans I have taken out with them since 2005 (on each occasion, I "paid off" the previous loan with a new one in order to refinance and borrow more). As instructed by Martin, I completed the relevant questionnaires (one for each loan) and included a covering letter, then sent the whole package off to the PPI claims address on the Lloyds TSB website. I knew there would be a delay for them to process my claim and decide whether they agreed I'd been mis-sold PPI. However, I have not heard anything from anyone and am now worried that a) my parcel never arrived or b) it has arrived but been lost in their massive backlog.
Has anyone else experienced the same as I have with Lloyds? Should I try to ring their helpline to find out whether my claim has been received/ is being processed? Should I just sit tight and hope to hear from someone in the next few weeks? Am I just wasting my time?!?
Any thoughts or suggestions to put my mind at ease would be helpful. The more I read about Lloyds and their "massive backlog" or "appalling customer service" etc etc, the more worried I become.....0 -
