  • rang on friday waited 45 mins only to be told that they are doing their best to satisfy our needs.however it seems that the staff have limited access to files etc they are just answer our questions the best way they can .they know sweet nothing about where our payment may be in the system they have no access.
so going off on one i believe is fruitless they are cannon fodder poor blighters.
lloyds and all the other banks etc are in complete turmoil they do not know whats going on in their business.not good at all dunno what to do as we are also waiting for cheques .patience i suppose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • is it me but since ceo got back payments have got worse
  • Just to let you know... I've just received my cheque (£3.8k) from Lloyds TSB.... It only took :-

a letter from them dated 16th December
one phone call from me on 13th January to say when would i received the payment and for them to say they would let the dept know i'd called.
a chasing email someone kindly gave me on 20th January (which i didn't need to do as the cheque arrived today and was dated 19th January!!)

My case with Lloyds TSB PPI has now completed.

Now whose next on my hit list!!!!

Good luck to you all in getting your money!!!

So clearly there's no logic to their waiting list.
  • Hi there, I'm new too and totally do not understand the order in which they are paying people.
My offer letter was dated 18th November apparently, I have never received a copy, only spoke to people on the phone who have told me verbally what my offer is. I am a LLoydsTsb customer so do not understand why people who have claim letters dated after mine are getting posted cheques when mine should surely be a simple transfer. Is is to do with the amount you are owed? I am expecting quite a big payout, nearly £13K?
  • Hi Trudy I too am with Lloyds and I've been waiting since October 3rd. Its frustrating that there seems to be no guidelines or structure in place. They just simply do not care its quite upsetting really how powerless we are
  • It's so weird. Are you waiting for credit card or loan. Credit card is supposed to be slower I think, I'm waiting for several loan payouts. So frustrating, I just really wish they could put some kind of timeframe on things. It's so annoying to have to check all the time on the off chance that there might have been a payment!

    Haha definitely no logic!
  • We heard in September that we would get back £8.5k by the end of October. Regular phone calls since then have resulted in us being told 'we don't know' and 'it'll be a couple of weeks now' and 'we don't know' and 'probably soon'. They have also now said it will go straight into our bank account and won't be a cheque. We have complained to the Financial Ombudsman who has said we have to give them another 8 weeks to pay up before they, the FO, will investigate...

My advice again guys, don't phone - they can't help you. Just write/email instead; these emails at least go to the people in the right place, the place you are phoning is in no-way connected to the repayments team :/
