I really don't think Lloyds have realised just how huge the situation is and they are so overwhelmed they are unable to sort the mess out....I won't hold my breath as i believe i will be waiting at least another couple of months before i receive anything, i'm expecting my recalculation letter sometime soon!!!!!! :mad:

if its any consolation the newer claims seem to be going through much quicker good luck

Can't believe this, Lloyds (well I assume its Lloyds, otherwise it would be one hell of a coincidence) paid my money into my account last week. Also this week a letter was delivered to my previous address containing a cheque dated 27th October. This address has not been used by me for 2 years and all correspondence has been to my current address. Absolute shambles. I'm tempted to cash it, stick it in an ISA and then give it back when they ask for it. Although, will probably bounce wouldnt it?

A cheque is valid for 6 months from the date shown on it - so if the cheque is dated 27th October, you've got until 26th April to pay it into your account.

I still have nothing in my account i feel another phone call again today! This is now getting beyond a joke. I am so fed up with all this now i can not wait for my refund to come through and then i can change all my accounts from to another bank.
