Just called Lloyds again to find out if the payment has been authorised and made. The foreign guy couldn't confirm it and couldn't tell me anything further. Told him that I want an answer in the next 2 hours. They ate telling you lies after lies.
I am going to call the other number now.
  • Whats the other number? ??

A different number on the email but that one gives you the number which is on the offer letter.
I am sick and tires of this.

obviously there is some holdup that they don't want to tell us about, these are just delaying tactics constantly, I don't blame the call takers as they are given a script to get us off their backs. I thought the letter from my MP might have done the trick but it doesn't look like it.

I think whoever it was on this forum who said they suspected that LTSB only had a given amount to pay out each month/quarter may be on to something. Although this doesn't explain why claims later that ours are being settled within a week or so of getting the original offer letters.

It really is frustrating, it seems just a particular batch that has been delayed. If there is a mistake then I am sure if they owned up and told us truthfully why there was a problem with this batch that we would be a little less frustrated (only a little though!)
  • well just got off the phone to them again and they say my claim has now been signed off and the money SHOULD be in my account by close of buisness today!Oh well another phone call tomorrow morning then!
  • lies lies lies.

Told today no payments gone out, wont receive money till 2012 now.

    :@
  • I dont see ANY point in calling at all , just sit tight and your money will eventually turn up
