  • What is this £1200 default compensation figure that people are talking about?
  • I have claims for 9 loans. Lloyds have info for 7 of them and have provided compo figures relayed to the actual amounts. The £1200 figures are a standard offer for the loans without any records.

Does that mean the actual amount could be higher?
  • well, they and i have no records so the 1200 is a figure that is deemed fair in the circumstances. If there were records then the figure would be based on actuality. The total compo figure from them is £19,542 :)

So does that mean i can go back further than 6 years if I can show I had a loan with PPI?
  • All at the bank's discretion I guess.
  • I had two loans with PPI dating back to 1996 and theyve been upheld £1200 each - definitely worth giving it a shot x
  • Still nothing here either
  • Nope nothing here either!

Has anyone received payment other than overnight? I am working on the premise that if it isn't in my account first thing, that is another day lost!:(
  • I just called again. Been told a Chaps payment has been done on 12th and it takes 6-8 days. She told me I should have the money either today or tomorrow. Well, if not, I will call again. Fingers crossed!
