Lloyds_Fiasco

An update, but firstly apologies for not posting sooner. I have been shocked of seeing some money from Lloyds coming back to me and its enabled me to get on with that thing called life...

So a brief summary:

Offer letter 21st September.
56 working days later, last Thurs day I received part payment of my claim. It amounts to roughly a third of the total, the main chunk is yet to come as they need to restructure my open loan. And guess what... That process can take up to 21 working days to happen, but is usually done within 10 according to the call centre chappy.

I also received a letter a few days after payment had been made outlining what had happened and that I was going to be chipped £50 for the inconvenience the delay had caused.... how random.
A nice gesture, until you consider the amount of interest and charges relating to things that could have been avoided had they paid me in a timely fashion.

The long and the short of it is an element of pressure is off especially at this time of year thanks to seeing part of the money, HOWEVER they still owe me twice the amount paid as my claim was for more than 10K.

Its still a disgrace whichever way you cut it and I expect a long wait to see the remainder that is owed to me.
But for now the focus is having a peaceful Christmas

Nothing for me today

No payment...might give them a call in a little while.

My original offer letter was received 12 Septemeber and awaiting on 15k.

How annoying.

Just rang Lloyds again....the lady i spoke to was shocked that i hadnt received my payment yet.

She said she was going to email her manager directly to get me sorted as i have been waiting far too long for my payment.

She seemed to think that once her email is received by her manager, things should progress quicker and hopefully have my money soon.

Fingers crossed something happens soon

I hope it happens mate - I have been escalated to management twice but zero change on my claims for quite a while now.
