Just looked in the claims/success section and saw this from poster allofushere
I checked my bank account today as I usually get a text from them each day telling me how much I'm overdrawn and this had nt happened today. I was extremely please to see they had paid me direct to bank - £2470!!!!
I received my offer letter on 24 September and disputed the amount on 26 Sept, as 2 years prior to 2004 have not been added to the calculation. I was told that it was too late to stop the original offer being paid but they would recalculate and send the difference at a later date. Im very sceptical of what info LLoyds give me nowadays so I rang to check this on 11 Oct and I was also told that the original offer payment would take at least 3 more weeks.
So Im chuffed!
So offer to payment in 3 weeks!0 -
put a claim in in may got letter in august saying complaint upheld, 8 th sept letter stating offer in 21 days, rang today to be told they are so backlogged still paying some claims from march and april, first they said did not have a prority list and then admitted they do, its a huge amount for me but can only wait, then today got letter from lloyds telling me about my account charges it seems so unfair.0

Will b ringing later for an explanation!
Lloyds tried ringing me for the last couple of days (but as my phone was made into a no-go area because I have been receiving several threatening phonecalls), and have offered me a CHAPs payment via email.
Which email addresses have you tried? I managed to get a response within 24 hours on the customer care and CEO office email address.
I really want to help you out in getting your redress as you have been waiting far, far longer than I have, and I feel awful about getting this offer, and not you0 -
i really like to thank you for this message we got our paperwork out and looking at it realised they have only paid us from 2004, when the card had run since 2001 to 2008 . we was always using the card . three times we paid this card off 8860,32 on one occasion and another 8190.32 and took it to the limit again .we had said it didnt seem right that we had a offer of 9052.69 we dont expect it to be a lot more but would of expected to get a bigger figure than they had calculated at least. when we had been paying 72.00 or more ppi. so i took advice from this quote and phoned this morning and they have made a seperate claim from 2001 to 2004 like you ill be waiting for 12 weeks that is the time scale they have give me.
thanks to pompey254 and good luck with yours0 -

I'm totally confused! just spoke with Lloyds and was told that they do not go past 6 years, "That's our policy!!". Also have had their card since the late 90's (Gold mastercard), and they only want to give me back £2,218.96 this only includes interest of 8%, total of £23.77. !!! I want a proper redress. The representtive, asked if I was declining this amount, told her that I want Lloyds to give me what is due to me....feel so angry:mad:.
Would you mind letting me know what you said/did to get them to look further back!
Thanks, very much

Oddly enough, after the "cut n paste" response, I got a full respone this morning in an email, and as I supplied my mobile number in my letter for someone to get in touch to discuss further, they tried calling a few times (but I sadly didn't pick up, I did this time though).
The addresses I used were:
The CEO one (somewhere on this thread)
customer.care.insurance@Lloydstsb.co.uk
and (for good measure)
PPI.customer.relations@ltsb.co.uk
I did get a call back rather quickly by someone who could help0 -

An alternate strategy to using the saynoto0870 numbers is a service called 'WeQ4U'. They save you money and time by calling you back when an agent is ready to talk to you.Macintosh, iPhone, iPad and Web development0
