  • No money from lloyds. Person i spoke to spoke to a manger in the refunds team personally and he has passed my details to him put no idea on when i will get my money
  • I've got so fed up I've sent an email to my local MP. 43.4% of Lloyds is owned by the government, so I'll see if he has anything to say on the matter. I'm starting to think they're waiting until after Christmas so they can have a lovely bonus with our money.
    SPC = £15.54 #1413
    £2 challenge = £22
    DEBT =

  • hope you don't mind me gate crashing but just thought i'd add to this as i've been checking back to see how everyone else's claims are going.

my payment was due yesterday, but as you will have guessed - no payment! i called the helpline today to be told that there is a back log (yes we already know!) but payments are being sent from the august ones so it shouldn't be long and that i should call back in 4 weeks if i haven't heard anything!! she couldn't give me a date, and she didn't even know from her notes whether i had been made an offer or how it would be paid.

To be honest i don't actually think she even looked up my file as i couldn't hear her typing and she seemed rather vague! The plot thickens!

the only way ive found to get a somewhat straight answer is not to speak to the person who answers the phone but to ask to be transferred straight to a manager
  • Got completely fobbed off yesterday when they called me back! She couldn't tell me why I hadn't been paid, or when I will get paid so a waste of time really!
She did tell me that they are working by date to make to make it fair on everybody (bullsh!t) but couldn't tell me what date they are on!!
So all in all an absolute waste of my time cause I'm still none the wiser

What a joke, they're obviously not working on date order as someone on here had an offer mid Sept and has been paid. I'm so closing my accounts when I finally get it, I suspect a lot of others will be too! Grrrrr so angry now. When I was on my hols my overdaft went over by a quid and I got back to a snotty letter! How about THEM owing ME 5.5k from lieing to me!

It is an absolute shambles and a joke, and I don't know how they can get away with it!
Who I spoke to yesterday was trying to tell me that there is no way that anybody with a letter dated Sept would have been paid! My mums friend who had several claims with Lloyds received her letters end of august and she had her cheques 2 weeks ago!
80 days now since letter date!
  • I got offer made via phone call in July........21 working days I was told for payment! yup, guess what?!.......still waiting on payment!!!!!!!!
  • I have just sent a e-mail to the ceo saying what great service LLoyds TSB offers to its customers!!!!!!!!

Also e-mailed watchdog not sure what good that will do but hopefully it helps.

Was advised when i rang on Friday to give it another week and call up next Friday but I am not going to wait that long, going to be calling them everyday like they would if i owed them money.

I dont understand in cases like mine and many others on here, were people have been waiting nearly 3 months why the cant make it a special case were by they can go into a Lloyds TSB branch with the letter, when you get there they call up or check the letter genuine and then release the funds into your account there and then instead off keeping people waiting... Suppose that would be to simple maybe....
