I originally wrote to Lloyds for a copy of my credit card agreement/T&C's on a Lloyds TSB CC in October 2010 and was ignored. I let it lie for a while as I read that all claims were on hold awaiting a review. In the meantime I went overseas with work. So I chose to go with one of the reclaim companies to persue my claim back in May of this year. This may not have been the best way but I was the other side of the world and didn't really know what I was doing either. Anyway, I took the card out in 1999 and it is still active. I paid the the PPI until Oct 2010. Lloyds have confirmed in writing that they cannot find my original signed agreement but sent another generic one that does not have my signature.
I know I have a solid case for several reasons but after talking to the claims company this morning they have not heard anything since June. They asked me a questionnaire on the phone this morning which they are sending me to sign - it is all information that I have given them before. Can anyone advise as I have signed an agreement with these people, what I can do to speed things up?
If I go after Lloyds myself the PPI company could still come after me for their fee.
I know many people on the forum are waiting forever for their payments following an offer from Lloyds, but I am not even at the offer stage yet and it has been nearly 5 months - is this normal? Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.:)
I would email them at the customer team and copy the email/also send to the CEO, ask them for an update as you've not received one in all this time, good luck.

Hi again,
I called LLoyds up again yesterday morning (and managed to get through to a real life person!) about my non appearing money. Somebody told me that since my letter from them was dated 3rd August that I should have had my PPI refund by now. So they are looking into it for me. I still have received no money and heard nothing, so I will be phoning them up again to get it sorted. I wouldn't mind, but I actually bank with LLoyds, so the transfer couldn't be any simpler! WHERE'S MY MONEY LLOYDS???????
Or keep pestering them by emailing both at the below, which includes the CEO.
Good luck,

Ok. Just sent out a very snotty letter to Lloyds Total Swindling (B?) asking why sending a cheque to someone takes months, for a bank. It could be done by hand in 5 minutes, but they must have all the details in a database so surely they can process hundreds of thousands in a matter of seconds.
I don't want to jump any queues. I just don't understand the queue. Once they have the amount, all they have to do, surely, is press a button. Why can't they do everyone, who has received the final amount letter, this morning and we all get our cheques tomorrow?0 -

Finally got through to LTSB today after trying all week, the lady took my credit card number and asked why I thought I was entitled to claim. After going through all this I mentioned that the original card I had taken ouo had been changed (like all others) from gold visa to airmiles duo automatically, and it was the Gold Visa which had the original missold PPI. The advisor said that I would need the original gold visa credit card number otherwise there was nothing she could do. She said she would transfer me to the customer services team who should be able to search. Customer services said I would have to go through to Lloyds credit card dept who said they would not be able to search back that far and I would have to search for something like an old statement or paying slip, but suggested calling into a branch. I've just been into a branch who were unable to help and referred me back to the 0845 PPI number to start the whole thing off again.
I feel like I'm getting the run around from Lloyds who seem to be making it extremely awkward to get a claim processed, and seem to have thrown little technical or human recourse at solving the problem. It's really frustrating as I know for a fact I was 100% missold this policy and can remember going into a branch quite annoyed (after realising how much I was paying for something of zero use) to cancel it a few years back and being told something like "this happens all the time as we get into trouble if we don't add it to the card".
Anyway, does anyone know if I need to provide them with this old card number or has anyone else come across this problem after having their cards automatically switched to the airmiles duo card? Am I being cynical in thinking that its impossible to get the card number from Lloyds as it would mean them having to pay out?
It's probably only going to amount to a couple of hundred quid, but its now become a matter of principle. I'm determined to get it resolved and then change banks asap.
Hi there
I would complain by writing and not verbally, so you can keep copies for your proof, I was once told the same that they could not find my details and they are now currently dealing with my older cases from the mid 90's.
So whatever info you do have, I would still continue to make a complaint/reclaim.
I would use the reclaim questionnaire either on this site, or by following the complaint details directly on their website, its the same questionnaire.
Good luck.
