They would soon pay out quicker, if they had to pay further redress for the distress and inconvenience caused - because of delays.

Shame this isn't an automatic thing really, but something the FSA should consider, (FCA) now isn't it?

  • Just rang up, lady I spoke to put on hold whilst she was speaking too the manager who is dealing with this. What she said is the manager has spoke to a manager on the refunds team, regarding a few causes off people still waiting since July. She said the manager in the refunds team has said that payment will be made within 7-10 days. I said is this 100% definite and she said yes....So buy the 10th October I should have my refund....Wait and see...

Fingers crossed for you guys that have been waiting since July.

Not sure about the 'few cases' of people waiting since July - I've not found anyone on here who has been paid a cheque by Lloyds in the last couple of months.

Of course, I say this, and my cheque will be waiting for me when I get home ( ever the optomist :p)

  • Sounds promising then as we are getting told the same thing. Yeh fingers crossed
  • I received my offer letters today and when I read that they were sending me cheques, I thought I would call them because my current account is with them. I was told that if I wanted payment directly into my bank account, I would have to go to the back of the queue. I asked why and was told that the cheque process had already begun. I said ok so when would I get my cheques, to which I was told between 6 and 8 weeks. I couldn't pin the chap down as to the cheques definitely being with me by week 8. They are a bank for heavens sake even if they are sending out cheques they could issue them quickly. I am going to give them 6 weeks to send me my cheques and if they are not I will call them again. If I have to call them I will ask them to recalculate the interest in my loans.
  • i got my letter a few wks ago saying no need to contact em but still no money.
