Oh ! Mine's on the same summary page.
Maybe you have lots of ING accounts. I've only got three separate ING ones.0 -

Just checked my account and noticed this new account for 5.65%. Has it been about long then as I haven't noticed it before and could not find it on here when I searched.
It's an online account only. I may as well transfer my money into this new Websaver account as I only use my existing account online.0 -

Just had an email from ING showing they have dropped the simple idea of "one great interest rate for all" (although their website still shows it!):
"At ING Direct we now offer a range of savings products to suit your needs and, as of 1 February 2007, our savings account rates are:
ING Direct Savings Account …want a great rate whether you manage your money by phone or online 4.75% AER*
ING Direct
Fixed Rate Savings Account …want a guaranteed high rate and are able to put your money away for a fixed period 6% AER for 6 months
ING Direct
Web Saver …are happy to manage your savings online only 5.65% AER
Maximum balance of £250,000"
They must have been rattled my Martin pointing out that ICICI offer 5.65%. Unusually, this appears to be only available for exisiting users! Or possibly aimed at people like me having started to transfer money to ICICI.
One thing: Why can't you just transfer the whole ING account over to a new WebSaver account, instead of having to mess around opening a new websaver account alongside the existing one?
Keep it simple chaps!

Just spotted that you can't directly transfer from a nominated bank to Direct Web Saver. You have to go Bank>Direct Savings>Web Saver.
Or am I doing something wrong.0 -
I did the same yesterday but in reverse, you have to go from Websaver to Direct Savings and then nominated bank. I checked with them. I could to it instantly.0
