N Power & Love2shop vouchers

Have just been on the phone to Npower as transferred to them on 22nd December and no vouchers have been sent - not very helpful though - going to pass my details on to their other department but may take up to 6 weeks for me to get a response from them!!! What the heck - my husband has just lost his job - these vouchers are needed more than ever. Come on NPower - you've got my custom, you've got my direct debit for the last 2 months where are my vouchers!0

Glad to see that some people are getting their vouchers. I switched on Nov 17th and have only received £50 so far. I have rang several times about this and keep getting told to wait and ring back later as another batch has just been sent out, has anyone received vouchers recently? Always speak to lovely chatty people but nothing ever seems to get done.0

I started the process of switching on 20th Dec 2011 and received my £100 of vouchers today.0

Glad to hear that some people are receiving their vouchers as promised... I switched my electricity and gas to Npower on 15th November 2011, purely on the basis of the voucher incentive, and received my confirmation of supply letters on 12th and 13th December respectively. I was originally told to expect to wait six weeks for my vouchers, then eight weeks and finally, nine weeks. Each time I've rung I've been met with a stream of excuses and promised a phone call back the same day, once they've 'looked into the situation'. Needless to say I've heard nothing! Today I finally ran out of patience when I was told the latest excuse - that Npower are out of stock of the vouchers. I was reassured though that my complaint would be escalated to 'Level 2' and the vouchers put in the post next Wednesday once new stocks were received! I told the 'customer service operative' that I no longer believe a word Npower says and that I would be taking my business elsewhere asap. Also that I would be making a complaint to the Energy Ombudsman at which point the operative suddenly became more interested, even asking what I'd like to happen! She was, however, unable to give me the Ombudsman's contact details, stating, 'I don't have that information'. I note that the Energy regulator Ofgem fined Npower £2m in October 2011 for failing to handle complaints properly - sadly no surprises there. My advice to anyone considering Npower as their new supplier is...DON'T!0

My love2shop voucher experience after switching to Npower via the MSE referral link to moneysupermarket:
9th December (0 weeks): arranged switch to Npower via moneysupermarket.
18th and 24th January (6 weeks) : Gas and electricity supply switched over to Npower
25th February (11 weeks) : £100 love2shop vouchers arrived by post (had to sign for)
21st March 2012 (14 weeks): £30 cashback paid
Was waiting for the £30 cashback for signing up to Npower via the MSE link to moneysupermarket which was supposed to be paid 6-12 weeks after supply had switched. I rang moneysupermarket and the cashback was registered with them (that was my main reason for ringing that you don't get automatic confirmation of the cashback when switching) and would be paid direct into my bank account at the end of April. The £30 cashback was subsequently paid into my bank account on 21st March 2012.I came, I saw, I melted0 -
hi
I signed up 15th Dec, my supply was changed on 20th and 25th Jan and £100 of lovely vouchers arrived this morning by recorded delivery.0 -
Is anybody else still waiting for their love to shop vouchers from Npower? I phone regularly but keep getting told that they are out of stock but that they will arrive within 8 weeks. I swapped in November 2011 and so 24 weeks later, 3 complaints logged and about 9 phone calls I am still waiting.
Starting to lose my patience now0 -

8 weeks after your complaint, you can raise it to the ombudsman.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
Hi,
Hope you don't mind me joining this thread.....
Im an existing Dual Fuel customer of NPower and my fixed tarrif is coming to an end. I've done a price comparison and NPower remain the most competitive (when you take into account the £100 annual discount).
I saw online that existing customers are eligible for the £37.50 per fuel Love 2 Shop Vouchers on the Bill Saver August 2013 tarrif.
I phoned NPower today and asked to switch to this tarrif and enquired about the Love 2 Shop voucher offer and the lady said its only for Online Customers. She said I'd need to switch my tarrif online to qualify which is what I've just done.
Anyone else know about this voucher offer? When I switched online (she said don't log into your account, just apply as if you're a new customer but the system will know you're existing) there was nothing about the Voucher offer.
Anyone have experience of this offer and getting the vouchers as an existing customer? There seems very little information about this - almost like its being kept quiet!0
