please can I publicly name and shame NPower whose gas meter they provided me with has repeatedly been reported faulty, it keeps conking out on me and reads "call help", even when there is credit on there and won't even let me put emergency credit on it. This results in me having to call NPower who then book an engineer to arrive within the next four hours, he then puts emergency credit on with his special keycard which I then have to pay back to the meter when I top up with credit. Having reported this fault four times within the last six weeks, two days ago I was promised a new one in two weeks' time. However, the meter played up again yesterday at 8pm so I called NPower who were closed and an emergency number is given, which is only for gas leaks!! So on the coldest night of winter so far I was without gas or warmth. This morning when I rang NPower they said they were sorry and would make sure I had a new meter fitted today. The engineer appeared three and a half hours later without a meter and said he had no instruction to fit one!! NPower have proved to be a big let down in a situation which could have been dire had I been elderly or infirm!! Shame on you NPower!!!!:mad:0

and to add insult to injury, on calling NPower on an 0845 number to report no meter being installed, after going through all the waiting automated options, I am told the current waiting time for an operator to answer is between 27 and 41 mins!! What a joke! :rotfl:0

I also signed up for this deal and my gas was transferred 20th Jan and my elec 27th. How long should it take for my vouchers to arrive?

I know the official line is 6 - 8 weeks for the vouchers to arrive but anyone know how long it actually took?

I'd chase them up Mark - after all my stressing at the start of the thread our electric transferred on 31st Dec and Gas on 12th Jan and the vouchers arrived the last week in January so much quicker than I expected.0 -
