I use Kaspersky Internet Security for all-round protection, and Firefox with NoScript to prevent me from getting malware in the first place.

This type of nanny/censoring software doesn't actually do all that much for security. It may be ok to stop young children looking at pron but it doesn't really do anything in stopping malware etc, never mind the controversial nature of its use by some countries.

I currently have an antivirus package that came with the computer, however, it is due to expire and I have heard from a techno head that avast is the way to go. It is super reliable and wins quality awards etc.. Now could someone in the know let me know do I need zonealarm too( is this a firewall or an antivirus program?) or is that duplicating the avast functions? Also is spybot and adaware good to add to. Am I missing anything that would make norton internet security any better??. I am currently running windows vista and it seems to have some sort of firewall ( a little shield with 4 coloured squares on it) . I'd appreciate very much anyone's help.
