Right and Elvis will become the PM
Well Elvis is dead, whereas the virus I mentioned is a real one, and although you may be using inbuilt MacOSX security that still means you aren't using nothing."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I use the following which are constantly running :-
Comodo firewall
AVG antivirus
SpywareGaurd
Spywareblaster
Snoopfree privacy shield (Am I the only person that uses this as I have not seen any other mention of it on this thread, Snoopfree is a nice little privacy tool that alerts against keyloggers. I find it quite usefull and its free)Link if anyone is curious http://www.snoopfree.com/default.htm
I rate Comodo as the best firewall out there and it passes with flying colours all the leak tests I have conducted on it.0 -

And you honestly think that Apple OS is TOTALLY bug free and secure?! Need I remind you the first virus detected in the wild was Elk Cloner designed to attack Apple DOS 3.3
It shows how much you actually now about software. Sure Apples are a lot more secure than Windows OS systems, but that doesn't mean that they are impossible to penetrate. They are, but theres no incentive for hackers to make a name for themselves because Apple computers represent a tiny percentage of all the computers used in the world. Hackers who want to make a name are going to target as many people as possible to cause maximum disruption, and thats is to target 95% of the computers in the world rather than 5%. When that divide starts to shift, we'll see more Apple viruses out there on the web.
Anyone who thinks Apple OS is 100% secure is ignorant and naive - by all means continue to download illegal ware, click on all the pop-ups that come up on your screen and use keygens, after all nothing will happen won't it?
Totally secure? Then whats this...?

What I've been saying...

...perhaps theres now a slim chance that Elvis isn't dead and will run for PM or more correctly PresidentLack of money is the root of all evil.

You may want to add adaware at least and possibly one more AS such as AVG antispyware. Although Spybot is excellent it doesn't catch everything and you really need a couple/few antimalware packages to properly get rid of spyware/adware. And congrats on first post, hopefully the first of many more."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Hello to all
From just a quick browse through this thread, I must say I'm surprised to see that many folks have quite decent and even excellent protection on their systems! to that!
Mine is as follows:
Avast Pro Antivirus but it does a bit more than just AV job :T
Sygate 5.5 PRO firewall
CCleaner
Search&Destroy
HijackThis
Ad-Aware and Ad-Watch
SPAMFighter
Tweak-XP PRO and System Mechanic Pro 6 Pop-up blockers
NoScript plugin for my Firefox browser
In bold are those that run at all time. Simmillar configuration of software has been on my computers for ages and never had any problem except with tracking cookies, which are inevetable from time to time.
All three PC's on my home network run smoothly and utilise the most /or almost most/ out of the cable Net /512 kbs UL 384 kbs DL/ I'm at.
