(god my wedding is sounding a so none-event in this, but honestly it's amazing to us two)I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

She doesn't have many friends
With her attitude, it's hardly surprising.0 -
Just another update for you all (I know of you were quite interested).........
said colleague got married and received the money she requested for honeymoon.
Anyway........... I received a text today saying:
It would appear a few of you are asking questions regarding where we are going on honeymoon. As you all know, we requested money for our honeymoon as the wedding was very expensive. Unfortunately we didn't receive as much as we had hoped, and obviously don't just want 2 weeks in Spain! thought I'd let you all know in one text rather than individually.............
er...... right then...... I wouldn't mind 2 weeks in Spain.....
PS Would have been nice for her to thanks us also, as we've not received a Thank You for what we did give her.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
How rude, ungrateful and selfish!! I'm of to Greece for a week on a budget of £400pp and I cannot wait! I would give my right arm to be able to go for 2 weeks. And why the 'obviously'? Is she that 'obviously' that shallow? Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0

How very rude, the obvious implication is that everyone was stingy.
If you no longer work there or even if you do;) I would be tempted to txt back and say I am sorry you were disappointed but I suppose it is a sign of the times, lots of people would be very happy with two weeks in Spain enjoyed via the generosity of others. I am sorry you are not one of them.0 -
