  • Sorry been AWOL for a while. Have been lurking and potting the odd £1 here and there. Trying to sort some debts out so been concentrating on that so no extra cash to pot.

DS was 12 on Monday so been out for a meal and he has friends over on Fri for Xbox marathon and food.

Glad everyone is managing to pot at least a few pennies as it is better than spending them.

DS paid me £2 tonight that he owed me for a football magazine so potted that.:T:T

Had the car MOT and service plus a small repair on Mon so that was £210 lighter and the tax is up too:mad:.
DD1 also came home with a trip to Berlin for next yr. Drum roll pls for the price...........£520,bargain!!!!!

Lucky me can pay £65 non refundable deposit then every 2 months £65 that is also non refundable. Told her that I am paying the deposit and will bank the £65 into my bank account every 2 months just in case anything happens that she doesn't end up going. They maybe doing some fundraising to bring the cost down Amen to that :rotfl:

Sorry to ramble but feel like it is one step forward and 3 steps back at the moment. Hay ho promise to get back on track.

    Love to everyone

    Good morning everyone
Had to scrape ice off the car windscreen this morning. A lovely £2 coin yesterday safely potted in the Chicago & New York 2013 spending fund pot. Just waiting for the pools man in work to give me some more £2 coins, I'll update the amount later.

Have a great day everyone, stay safe & keep saving

Morning all, I hope everyone's well.

Good to see you zafiro, lovely to hear saving has become second nature to you - me too!

Lovely to hear yet another project is under way, nu1isit?, well done you.

O dear, mumof3plusoh, you've every right to tell us all about it, one thing after tother for you at the moment..with still more to come! £520 to go to Berlin is one he*l of a lot to ask for!!! Have they heard of the austerity measures Cameron and clowns have forced on us???? If they have then they should be thinking again and doing things that are more realistic for ALL the families!

    Anyway, you focus on what's necessary at the mo, we'll still be waiting for you when you return! :D For now hugs {{{hugs}}}

You're welcome, ladsmadd it's just so lovely to see folk acknowledge it, all too often such help is taken for granted - NOT with you!!! :D

Morning sparky, what a chilly one after yesterday eh!

Aha! There you are LC 2! I'd been wondering if you were ok. Good to hear you had a lovely Mothers Day, me too - and I also had a beautiful cake from DS!!!

I seem to have run out of steam with my potting :( Also I was hoping to pay a bit off my mortgage this month, following Sparky's good example, but it looks like I won't have any money left! Hey ho. Maybe it'll get better next month.
Welcome back to zafiro1984 and luckycharlie, missed you.
:grouphug: to those that need them and enjoy the sunshine everyone :)

Hi all, managed to pot £3 change out of my purse yesterday and I've just had an email saying I won £10 on the lottery last night. That will be in the bank so I'll add it to the rest of my SP money that's in there. I'll update in a min.
I now have over £100 in change in the pot. Can't wait to see DH's face when I finally open it in November.

Big Hugs to all who need one.
