£2 coin update - 8 of the shiny things going into the Chicago & New York 2013 spending fund. Also a lonely 5p tea room floor change into the road change pot, well it's actually going to the side of it because I can't get any more in. :j

Sue how warm is it now? The weather's strange ;)

LC2 if you're near Mr M's about 8am in Friday, I'll see you there, I'll be the one with my nose to the pavement :rotfl:

Take care everyone, stay safe & keep saving :D

I seem to have run out of steam with my potting :( Also I was hoping to pay a bit off my mortgage this month, following Sparky's good example, but it looks like I won't have any money left! Hey ho. Maybe it'll get better next month.
Welcome back to zafiro1984 and luckycharlie, missed you.
:grouphug: to those that need them and enjoy the sunshine everyone :)

    Hi rosyq,

I seem to have run out of steam too. Currently living on a tight budget to pay off debts, build an emergency fund and then tackle the mortgage, so it doesn't leave a great deal of opportunity for potting.

Having said that, 2 x 1 cent pieces roadkill have gone into the pot recently :) and hubby and I only need to put petrol in the car/truck 3 more times and then we'll get some cash back, which will be a great boost :T

I'm still coming by here daily and reading how well everybody else is doing, and you all seem to be doing very well :T a couple of hiccups but that's to be expected 4 months into the challenge, it's not a race, it's a journey being shared so just keep at it.

You're right of course - and as if to prove it, I got a lovely pound in my change at lunchtime so it's in the pot now :j Just gotta keep going!

Hugs to all and welcome home Kerfuffle

I think what you should do is get £1 and change it into 1ps or small amounts of moneys. Then get a child/friend/OH to hide them all around the house/garden/car so you find them occasionally. Then every time you find one it will make you smile and you can pot it. When you are struggling with money i think it is a lot nicer to pot it that way than just 1 whole pound. :)

    Just an idea
