That last bit makes me sound like a binge drinker. I'm not, promise... :A

    We believe you, RedGoose ;)

Potted three!! Yes, three!!! £2 coins today. Change from the supermarket. The girl on the till apologised for not having any fivers. I said "Oh that's alright" and tried not to snatch her hand off :D.

Going to the bank this afternoon to open an isa for my mum. It's time she became more MSE:)

Hi folks! What a really beautiful day. DH & I went for a gorgeous walk this am, blissful with the birds singing.

Mmm thanks for reminding me of bean and chorizo stew - I love it! The roasted squash sounds yummy too! Will give it a try!

I'm loving 'keeping house' again and having some space and peace and quiet!

Have no change to pot at the moment as need to break a note but really am trying not to! Might have to raaid OH's wallet...the zip has broken so sometimes the odd coin spills out...

Oh dear Janey, you certainly need to keep a close eye on that wallet, best remove the contents as often as possible to be sure! ;) BTW my answer to you about the food was scant because....I thought you'd said 5 DAYS!!!!! :o Who doesn't read what she sees eh! :( I love the sound of bean and chorizo stew, will have to have a go. So pleased you're enjoying yourself.
£13.15 into the pot last night. thats a fair few days worth though. Trying to spend as little as possible which means not many pennies :( I get paid tonight but i'm still going to try and not spend much.

Very good for you, Ruth! :j

    That's marvellous savings, welshone!!! :T

Good to hear the washer arrived so quickly, nanto3girls, how strange you don't even know where you won it.

I've never heard of having an emergency pizza in before, but sounds a darned good idea to me, a lot cheaper than takeaways too. Thanks for that, RedGoose.

Good to see you back with us, Oops. It's good having you here regularly. :)

Keep safe, well and saving everyone! :grinheart

I havn't posted for quite a while but I've been potting, everything under a 1.00 coin goes in. It's strange but it has become such a habit. I have no idea what is in the tin but gosh it's getting heavy. I think I'll have filled this tin by the end of this month so I need to look out for another suitable sweetie tin to glue together.
