So I created my pot last night out of an empty liquitabs box! Then I went around the house and collected every coin I could find - including various jars we've just been throwing change into over time. Counted it all up and have £75.61 to start my official pot off with! Can't believe I had £75 lying around the house with no real purpose for it! I don't tend to spend money during the day as I bring my lunch with me etc - but am going out this weekend so am likely to end up with loads of extra change I can throw in the pot!
WOW!! What a great start to your pot:T

Hi everyone..... wow what a night last night...

my only night of the week that I don't do anything (run children around... or community 1st response with ambulance service)

and I ended taking my eldest (15) up to A & E with his wrist. Some (kind?) person had taken him down in a nasty tackle at football injuring his wrist.. anyway after 3 hour wait(!!) he has torn ligaments and tendons in his hand and wrist so is now in a support cast for the next 7 days
Upside of that though I suppose was that I had to put a £5 note in the parking machine and with the change it gave me a £2 coin which went into the pot.
    (saga continues)....
Having already been up the hospital that morning with my youngest (12) to see a surgeon about a small op he has to have..... I get home at 9.30pm with eldest to find that my youngest has temp of over 40 degrees and his tonsils are HUGE white and pussey. So back up to the walk in centre I go wait 1 1/2 hours for some antibotics!!! finally get in at 11.30pm!!!

    Great night off that was!!!
But as I had to pay for some more parking again .. I did have another £1 to put in the pot!!!!

Hope everyone ok and congrats on the new baby (opps forgot the name of the person !!!)
Poor kids. Hope you are all feeling a bit better today and your sons wrist is not too sore :)

“Hello everyone! I am back! Sorry I have been a little AWOL however I have been in hospital having my baby! another little girl born on Saturday weighing 7 lb 4 oz, she was 2 weeks early.”
    Congratulations Lookingtothefuture.

Glad to hear the little one’s better Jakes-mum, you should have my two. If there’s something to climb on, or fall off – or over, they’re there. It's only a matter of time before the ice claims the big one as a casualty...

Woooaaah Wantahouse, Congratulations on the good start :D...In the future though, I accept all kind contributions :p...

Hope you have a better day tomorrow shelches...Hope the little ones get better soon.

A grand 52p from us today  :D . I’ve been out buying potatoes and milk – so it’s change from that (I know, it’s an exciting life I lead – full of danger and death defying feats :p)...
For everyone who needs one of these :grouphug:, here’s one :grouphug:..
I'm of to have one of these  :coffee::dance:.

    Happy Potting everyone :j

And pay attention here too - you can delete parts of the post if you don't want to quote it all - as long as you keep the bits inside the square brackets [] at the beginning and end of the quote, it'll show up in its nice green box.

Thanks to everyone who's wished DD luck, you are a lovely bunch :):):)

My colleague paid me the rest of what he owed me for the laptop today so I can pot that tonight :T

    Hi JAKES-MUM

Thank for your help. Re gift cards these aren't like the Tesco ones well they are just not the same!!!! As for the real Tesco giftcard I was told that you cannot ad money to them in fact the girl at the till was quiet rude about it !! I will ask them next time I go in
