I don't tend to spend money during the day as I bring my lunch with me etc - but am going out this weekend so am likely to end up with loads of extra change I can throw in the pot!

potted 8p yesterday, but i have to go to tesco's for cat food and wilko's for bird food today. Feeling very tired from my treatment yesterday. Might try to squeeze in a nap as well.
Hi honey,
Hope you're feeling rested and raring to go today.

Now LC2 pay attention to Teacher Jakesmum
For every post you want to quote, click the 2 speech bubbles at the bottom of the post (you can only quote a maximum of 3) then when your ready to post, click the quote button on the last post you want to quote and your reply box will open with each post you want to quote
And pay attention here too - you can delete parts of the post if you don't want to quote it all - as long as you keep the bits inside the square brackets [] at the beginning and end of the quote, it'll show up in its nice green box.
Thanks to everyone who's wished DD luck, you are a lovely bunch:):)
My colleague paid me the rest of what he owed me for the laptop today so I can pot that tonight :T

It seems like ages since I posted, I have been putting in all change under 50p but not keeping a count of what is in there. It's interesting how I don't miss it and it's sitting there just waiting to be counted at the end of the year.
I think I may go to the other extreme and pot all £2.00 coins as well just to get my total up. searched the purse and potted 2 x £2 coins!! Ah well, its gone and I can't retrieve them - was it a rash moment??0 -
Hi everyone..... wow what a night last night...
my only night of the week that I don't do anything (run children around... or community 1st response with ambulance service)
and I ended taking my eldest (15) up to A & E with his wrist. Some (kind?) person had taken him down in a nasty tackle at football injuring his wrist.. anyway after 3 hour wait(!!) he has torn ligaments and tendons in his hand and wrist so is now in a support cast for the next 7 days
Upside of that though I suppose was that I had to put a £5 note in the parking machine and with the change it gave me a £2 coin which went into the pot.
(saga continues)....
Having already been up the hospital that morning with my youngest (12) to see a surgeon about a small op he has to have..... I get home at 9.30pm with eldest to find that my youngest has temp of over 40 degrees and his tonsils are HUGE white and pussey. So back up to the walk in centre I go wait 1 1/2 hours for some antibotics!!! finally get in at 11.30pm!!!
Great night off that was!!!
But as I had to pay for some more parking again .. I did have another £1 to put in the pot!!!!
Hope everyone ok and congrats on the new baby (opps forgot the name of the person !!!)0 -

Hi luckycharlie and thank you!:A
Unfortunately it did develope, I should have known it would earlier yesterday evening when I started to feel a bit queasy. I literally had a sneezing fit and almost immediately the headache started. I have been taking some painkillers, so it's not too bad, but always makes me feel a bit 'spaced' out and like I have a tight band round my head. Just hoping it's not going to be a several day thingy. x
No spending today, so no pennies in the pot. The dog and the bunny are off to the vets later, so there might be a few pennies then, just hoping there is not going to be much of a bill.
Think some of us are having snow again later, so keep warm and safe everyone:)Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

I will be strong! The website is quite useful for snacky ideas, but I think I can put nibbly bits in a little pot for myself- and pot the saving, naturally! I do sometimes wonder if I'm being unnecessarily tight though.
Mine currently get dished out two for me and one for my mum and one for my dad. Unless the kids come round, then its "auntie Ruth, are you going to open your box yet?" lolSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4
