So I have just totalled it all up and I have ended up having a no spend week! So the two 50p pieces that were in my purse are now sat in my pot. It's getting nice and heavy nowI wonder how long I can go without having to go out and spend any money.... Hmmmm.....:)
And as we have another girl, we don't have to buy any (well many) new clothes as I saved all of DD1 clothes some of which she only wore once or twice before she grew too big. So MS in ways I never thought possibly :rotfl: I plan to e...bay the clothes once DD2 grows out of them and save this money in a separate sealed pot which I plan to spend on getting the girls bedroom furniture.
(and if anyone is wondering... Yes I did scan the carpark for road kill when we arrived at the hospital Saturday morning at 5:30 ! Lol! None! Gutted!)
Congratulations Lookingtothefuture to you and your OH.
What lovely news. Well done for thinking about roadkill whilst in labour - dedication. Although i am sure an interesting sight, had you spotted one and attempted to pick it up. :rotfl:

Congratulationsssssssssssssssssss Lookingtothefuture :j :j :j
Sighhhhh well Miss Lily went back to nursery today an when I picked her up she had a massive bump on her chin, complete with cut. Because the play area was so icy they put down the barrier and took them all out into the car park for a run around and my Lily finds the one tiny bit of ice out there and slips over on it  so just another scab to add to all the pox scabs covering her *oh how I miss the rolls eyes smiley*
On a slightly good/bad note, got a card through the door saying I had an under postaged letter at the sorting office (£1.58 thank you very much ) went to pick it up and its a £10 Primark giftcard win :j :j I have emailed the company my displeasure about having to pay to collect my win and someone is looking into it for meSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Hello to all chilly potters!
Congratulations! on your new beby girl:j Lookingtothefuture
I have had a right week:eek: and it hasnt finished yet!:(
Monday sorted out a backlog of paper work, took me 6 hours:eek:
That will teach me to let it build up.
Tuesday I had a Hospital App that took all morning but at least I treated my OH and me to lunch out in the local Art centre , which was a real treat as sometimes we grab a coffee in a supermarket and it's horrible. Especially someone over the loud speaker every 5 min's. It really rattles my nerves.
Wednesday had some plaster's in two fix my oldest child's wall as it needed re-insulating with a false wall.
When my big sister arrived last week she is a chartered surveyer (which is always handy:)) and she told me the whole house needs this false wall thing and a floating floor downstairs. I cant afford it at the moment but maybe in years to come, it would be great. The house I live in was built in 1961 so insulation is extremly poor but am working on it;).
Today Plaster's back and some new loft insulation is being added am waiting on the other half to come round (as we dont live together) to shift some stuff in my loft, so the workmen can get up there a bit easier. WORST thing I've got to do today is re-adjust a costume for my little one to wear 2morrow to his "Dress as someone famous day!" I loath sewing and have to make a new waist band and re-ajust the waistcoat:(
Why, Why, Why do the these unpractical Teacher's think it's great to get the parent's to go into overdrive on doing stuff everyday when it's the last week of term. If I'd been on this thread at xmas I could have had a right good moan, never mind. Don't get me wrong it's a fantastic school with wonderful teacher's but they do ALOT.
Potted about £9.00 this week so far, still NO ROAD KILL. Was gutted Wednesday when I went out. I think the OH thinks I'm going mad!:rotfl:
I hope Sue-uu gets better soon and am glad MISS LILY is on the mend and went back to nursery. Shame she had the fall:( but hope she's o.k and your sleeping better
Happy potting, big hugs:grouphug: to everyone and keep wrapped up warm:coffee:
