22p in my pot today, its very slim pickings in our house at the minute as im trying to hold onto change for Kerri's 2nd purse challenge :rotfl: very happy today as checked DH's joint account and he's £80 in credit :D havent seen a figure without OD at the end in either joint account for over 6 years  so for one to finally be showing a plus sign really makes me feel proud and that im actually getting somewhere :o

Well done jakes-mum- keep at it! Hope Lily is feeling better.

Hope you feel better soon Sue.

Have ordered a free box of nibbly things from an online supplier. However not going to pot the cost until I cancel it to stop them from sending me anything I have to pay for! (Tight? Yes. Cheeky? Yes. Are we surprised? :rotfl:)

  • I've not been very good lately at putting anything in my pot but £2.07 went in yesterday - a combination of coins that I found round the house and whatever was in my pocket.

Need to try harder - money has been resting in my wallet for too long and that generally means it will be spent rather than saved whereas if it's already in my pot I can't spend it

    How do all

3rd NSD no nuffink for my pots :(:(:( as I haven't been out for three days due to the snow and icy paths. Have got to go out tonight for OH healthy heart class and I need some milk so am sure change will be potted tonight.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and well. Feeling better Sue??

    Good luck to the newbies....

 Hello everyone! I am back! Sorry I have been a little AWOL however I have been in hospital having my baby! :j another little girl born on Saturday weighing 7 lb 4 oz, she was 2 weeks early.

So I have just totalled it all up and I have ended up having a no spend week! So the two 50p pieces that were in my purse are now sat in my pot. It's getting nice and heavy now :D I wonder how long I can go without having to go out and spend any money.... Hmmmm.....:)

And as we have another girl, we don't have to buy any (well many :p) new clothes as I saved all of DD1 clothes some of which she only wore once or twice before she grew too big. So MS in ways I never thought possibly :rotfl: I plan to e...bay the clothes once DD2 grows out of them and save this money in a separate sealed pot which I plan to spend on getting the girls bedroom furniture.

Hope you are feeling better Sue-UU and that lily has gotten over the dreaded pox Jakes-mum.

Keep up the good work everyone!

(and if anyone is wondering... Yes I did scan the carpark for road kill when we arrived at the hospital Saturday morning at 5:30 ! Lol! None! Gutted!)
