:DHello everyone!
42p in my pot today.
DH had another £2.50 win on the lottery -that's the 2nd one this week......maybe a hat trick!:j
DH also thinks he has a 50% share in my pot (I seem to remember he thought that once before)
Just to get it straight ...he has not:D (I am saving for a secret pressie for him)Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

Thank you to everyone for the congratulations, there are so many I can't multi quote you all! Thank you
it's a lovely time for our family indeed. We are all smitten for sure
40p for my pot today, although another NSD I found two 20 pence pieces hiding in the bottom of DD1 changing bag. They weren't there two weeks ago when I cleaned it all out and replenished the supplies ready for when I went to hospital. But as the old saying goes, finders keepers looses weepers!:D:rotfl:

So £1 a day goes into a different pot, £2 coins going into another (well technically they go into my SP) but it's a different challenge if you know what I mean. Do you all keep your challenges seperate or would you include them in your seal pot one. I know it's just personal perference but just want to know how you all do it. Thanks xx
Hi moneymanager, to answer your question, we only declare savings that we've specifically saved for the SPC; anything else is only included with the other challenges.I have a question - I'd like to open my pot and bank some of it because I know there's at least £50 in there just with the notes - is that OK? And how do other people do it? Just bung it in normal account and ringfence it? Or open a new account just for sealed pot?
Hi Rosy, to answer your question - you can bank it by all means. No need to keep it in a separate account - unless you wish to - but please do pop all amounts saved on your signature so you can then include them when declaring on the 29th November.
I'll be back in a jiffy to give a more general post.

Ah well, its gone and I can't retrieve them - was it a rash moment??
Absolutely 100% not rash, zafiro! However, if you're concerned that it may be for the future then have another temporary holding pot to put it in, if you've not used it by pay day - then pot it!!
Oh dear shelches, but at least you were there for them! A lot to be said for that with working Mums. I do hope they're better soon and your lad's wrist recovers well.
