Thank you everyone! How is everyone finding so much roadkill!
I only wish I knew. I haven't found a single penny yet!Perhaps it depends on the area you live in. The busier the area the more chance perhaps? Good luck anyway

Still not got a pot. I tried freecycle but no replies. We're off to York this Sunday - Travelodge 2 nights for £25 - plus taking my sister-in-law, Ruth. She and I will look in lots of Charity shops while hubby looks in lots of old churches. Perhaps I'll get one there. I was thinking of papier mache but I'd have to buy balloons and I refuse to spend on them to save money. No money in my purse - so nothing to pot. Not going out of the house until Friday when Ruth is buying me lunch. :j
Hope you enjoy your trip to York ailz. We like to go to York at least once a year (especially christmassy time). We went last Nov at we got a good deal with TL as well. Which one are you staying at??? We were at Micklegate which was in a really good position.
Right back onto potting news - walked into the room this morning and spied 2 x 1ps sitting there on the table just waiting for me to rescue them and put them with the rest of their family.
Nothing else to pot so far today.
Take care everyone

Well i so far have £1 from my pound a day. 9p from my change at lunch and 2 20ps for my pots.
i'm completely addicted!
Also, slightly off topic. I'm planning to book an appointment with the bank man this weekend so i can get interest on my savings as they're currently just all in a current account. Has anyone got any suggestions on what i should ask or look into? I need to have access to my money should anything bad happen if that makes sense.

Hi Ruth,
Some savings accounts give a fairly decent percentage, but one really has to earn almost 6% to keep up with inflation.
I am not sure whether I can post the link here, but in the MSE email of today, click on Martin's section on the left-hand side called "New 3.13% savings" and it will take you to several options. They look pretty decent, considering.

Hi everyone,
£3.50 potted, change from the dentist.
There was an old chap walking in front of me today and he suddenly stooped down and started scrabbling around on the pavement. As I walked past I saw he was picking up loads of 1p pieces! There must have been about twenty of them! I wonder what that was all about. Do people just throw handfuls of money around??
The old chap wasn't one of you lot was it?:rotfl::rotfl:
