Been a very good ostrich today. My auntie popped round earlier with a tenner she owed me for some bits I'd bought for her last week. I could have left it in my purse and frittered it away on coffees and crap from the shop, but NO. I potted it. :j

Evening all

I haven't posted in a little while and the potting has been slow. Managed to stay within my weekly budget by a whisker after food shopping yesterday - providing I don't spend anything else before Friday. I have a grand total of 23p to last until Friday so I may as well pot it now!

Getting pretty nervous now about my op on Monday, I keep thinking 'Maybe I will get better if I wait a bit longer...'! I keep being told not to worry and I wish I could stop myself being scared but don't know how

A whole 10p today - well, two 5p's actually!!!

Was so excited when I found them when cleaning my bedroom. Might even decide to clean the spare room on Thursday in the hope of finding more!!!

Thank you everyone for your well wishes for DS, not sure whats going on with him as he was a lovely normal rosey cheeked boy this evening :eek: he was complaining about pain in the back of his legs so im wondering if hes inherited my muscle cramps I used to get them all the time when I was a kid and they were blinking painful but that still doesnt explain the complete lack of colour in his face :huh:

Try not to worry Ljaneyr, just try and push it to one side for the minute and have a dodgy hug :grouphug: and a nice cuppa tea (can tell im from the fens cant you, a cup of tea cures everything round here :rotfl:)

I also feel a little lost, I did not post for a few days and I had a few spend days. I emptied my change purse today and was able to add $3.12 to my pot.

anyways looks like we are all being very postive and you know no matter the amount everyone its making us all a little more thoughtful with our money and any money found or saved its like yipppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee even my kids have got the habit and hunting for the money or trying to get the best value for their money to pot their money in their little pots too
