I need to ask a really daft question: what does "roadkill" entail? Money found lying around??
ailz95 - that is a really good deal at Travelodge. Have a super time.

It's not a daft question at all. 'Roadkill' is the term used for a coin or coins found in the street, car park, shopping centre etc anywhere where it's been dropped or sometimes thrown away  (I'll never understand that one!) Actually, I haven't found a single one yet and I do search for them much to my OH's disgust :rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge #012

Roadkill to me is anything found outside. But that is cause i like Pubkill and Shopkill and Housekill.......you get the idea.
I think to normal people its any money found that has been dropped by another.Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Still not got a pot. I tried freecycle but no replies. We're off to York this Sunday - Travelodge 2 nights for £25 - plus taking my sister-in-law, Ruth. She and I will look in lots of Charity shops while hubby looks in lots of old churches. Perhaps I'll get one there. I was thinking of papier mache but I'd have to buy balloons and I refuse to spend on them to save money. No money in my purse - so nothing to pot. Not going out of the house until Friday when Ruth is buying me lunch. :j
Hi ailz95, enjoy York, we went there for my 50th and had a brilliant time. V good deal on the lodge too, I'm jealous. As for your pot, any old thing will do to start, I'm using a lidless biscuit jar with loads of sellotape over the top for change, and a Gu sweety tub with the lid sellotaped down for £2 coins. I don't know which is best - the one I can see into and gloat, or the one I can't see into which is a lovely mystery!
£12 going into my pot when I get home cos sold my grill
Cheers all

Thank you for the explanation, little-sweetie and Ruth. Mine is more like Housekill - I found the change lying in my daughter's bedroom on the floor - finders keepers
It was mine anyway, once upon a time!
