had a NSD but i agreed to pay mum's phone bill for her on saturday. So she's given me £13 in a £5 note, 2 £2 coins and 4 £1 coins. so i've potted them! My pot is about half way full so me and mum were planning a trip over to meadow hall to hobbycraft. I think i'll be buying some gear to paper mache myself a pretty new pot thats bigger! I was thinking of making a horse just cant work out how to make its head.

Hi all, just a tiny little 5p coin in the pot today. I found it cowering in a pocket of my handbag, it must have been remembering when it was roadkill before I rescued it and dropped it in there for safe keeping. It's in among all it's friends now in the 5p pot. :)

    Hugs to all.
    Be Well.

    Evening all

I haven't posted in a little while and the potting has been slow. Managed to stay within my weekly budget by a whisker after food shopping yesterday - providing I don't spend anything else before Friday. I have a grand total of 23p to last until Friday so I may as well pot it now!

Getting pretty nervous now about my op on Monday, I keep thinking 'Maybe I will get better if I wait a bit longer...'! I keep being told not to worry and I wish I could stop myself being scared but don't know how :(

Sending you all the best wishes for monday hun. The worst bit is the waiting to go down to theatre. Once you're there, its a couple of forms to fill in, then your through. xx

Evening all. Didn't manage to put anything into my pot yesterday, but put approx £2.00 odd into it today, didn't count it out. Silly me.
Have had 2NSD's this week, so once I've done my weekly food shop on Friday, I shall be popping extra in it then. I'm hoping that I can put more in it next week, my purse seems to be light of change this week.
  • Evening all,

Found 10p underneath some clothes on the sofa, so in the pot it went. also not potted my usual £2 a day so potting £5 tonight.:j:j:j

Have a fab time Ailz in York. My favourite place in the world. Hubby and I spent a fantastic 3 nights there for our joint 40th a couple of years ago. We treated ourselves to stay in The Royal York (got 3nights for the price of 2, very MSE). Last time we stayed there was just before we got engaged when we were 22. Will try and get back before we are 62 as that seems to be the pattern.;)

    Have a great night everyone

Hi all found 2p today. Potted £1.60 after going to the shops yesterday. :j

My youngest hurled a penny at me earlier and said " Here have this mum for all your hard work" I looked at it and said "why am I getting this?" youngest say's "Well actually it's because it's got green bloobs on it and I dont want it in my new money box." That sounded more like my child! :o
