SteffieLou, taking a packed lunch and saving yourself all that cash is brilliant, just imagine if everyone did that!! Be proud of yourself!!ljaneyr wrote:Getting pretty nervous now about my op on Monday, I keep thinking 'Maybe I will get better if I wait a bit longer...'! I keep being told not to worry and I wish I could stop myself being scared but don't know how
We are all nervous when it comes to ops, Janey, far better to have them done than put the inevitable off. Get yourself some Rescue Remedy from a Pharmacist, that'll relax you. It's best to ask yourself "what's the worst that can happen?! Once you do that and don't reply with too grim an answer it feels a lot better. You have all of us behind you and will be ok! :grinheart
ailz95, you don't need much to be able to have a pot, surely you've something at home that would be just right, a coffe jar, old tin, even a box would do.
Maybe the poor old chap had dropped his own money, Oops. If not he did well to stumble upon it, you didn't kick it away from him then? Sparky would have!!!luckycharlie wrote:SUE
You can have some too cos haven't seen you on here either (((HUGS)))

Honestly I am finding this more difficult then I thought this saving thing, how am I going to do this

Stick with it Ruby, 5 days and £4.72 is sometimes more than I manage. Just think, at this rate you would be saving £344 per year - now is that good or not??

We're staying at Tadcaster - can be noisy at weekends, which is why it was so cheap I think. Google maps has even told us that it will cost about £11.67 in petrol (though my car is diesel) so I shouldn't have to add to January's fuel allowance.
Hope you feel better soon Jake's-mum. {hugs} - gentle onesClutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright0 -
Potted another fiver last night, remnants of the cash I had to give hubby to go to the post office to post Ebay sellings as he'd left his debit card at work. My terramundi (notes, £1 and £2's) has a reassuringly "crumply" sound when I shake it.
My Quality Street and brown parcel tape jar (everything else) is sounding quite healthy too.

I really don't want to move to a new bank. Not very mse but i get very attached to things and dont like change lol. I'll just have to see what they offer me.
My OH now has his own pot! This means he gives me no change and i have to buy his 20ps off him! My pot is very unhappy with his pot.
I did pot last night, my usual £1 and some more but i had a really bad nights sleep so will have to update my total tonight/tomorrow.Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4
