Hi all!
just potted 6p left over from food shopping (must be more frugal ) plus 26p left from my weekly allowance. Where did my £20 go yet again? I'm sure my money has legsI get my next allowance tomorrow but I'm treating my DD to lunch so I think it will have to be a really cheap one. Has anyone seen the Crown Carvery's £2.99 offer? The vouchers are on a link from the Facebook page. I've printed off 5 vouchers
They are valid right up until 31st Jan brilliant!
Still waiting for roadkill, by the way.....
Hope you're feeling much better jakes-mum what an embarrassing experience you had _pale_ Why do these things always happen in a very public place...Here's a hug for you anyway <<HUG>>Sealed Pot Challenge #012

Evening all
I haven't posted in a little while and the potting has been slow. Managed to stay within my weekly budget by a whisker after food shopping yesterday - providing I don't spend anything else before Friday. I have a grand total of 23p to last until Friday so I may as well pot it now!
Getting pretty nervous now about my op on Monday, I keep thinking 'Maybe I will get better if I wait a bit longer...'! I keep being told not to worry and I wish I could stop myself being scared but don't know how
Hi janey, I just wanted to wish you luck for Monday. Everyone will be thinking about you. It's only natural to be scared, I had a wisdom tooth removed in hospital under general anaesthetic a few months ago and I was scared rigid but there was no need to worry. Once I was in theatre I remembered nothing of the proceedure and anaesthetics these days are so much better than in the past as they no longer leave you feeling rough and groggy. In fact, I felt on a bit of a high for a couple of hours after! Try to put it out of your mind until the day, Concentrate on all those money saving and potting tips we are all discovering :j Take care and do let us know how you get on. Can I join the Sealed Pot Challenge please?
I would like to use the SPC to save approx £350 so I can buy my very own long-haired Daschund puppy ^___^
My sealed pot is a large pink pig ceramic piggy bank, with duct tape over the plastic plug underneath and a picture of a puppy stuck to the tape, so if I turn it upside down to raid it, I'll see a little face looking back at me, and hopefully I'll put it down again.

Afternoon all.. Mixed day for me so far today. Turns out, our newly decorated and fitted downstairs loo had developed a leak in the cistern. This is the third loo that's been sent to us, and it seemed initially that this one wasn't faulty, and worked okay. Only had it fitted just shy of two weeks, then I wake up this morning, and find a leak when I open the door. Hub's not a happy hub at all. It looks like one of the pipes inside the flushing gizmo in the cistern has a crack. We're having no luck at all this year where water is concerned. Found a leak behind one of the kitchen units last weekend too. My kitchen is upside down whilst we try to dry out the wall..
But, on a better note, potted £3.00 this morning! :j
A warm welcome too, to all the new peeps waiting to join. I'm new to this challenge too, but I've been made to feel so very welcome. :beer:0 -
