  • Well my darling Hubble to be potted a handful of change today, all lovely 1s and 2s and 5s into his pot. Made a lovely sound :T

Mine has not been so lucky as had to go to te s co today but paid on my card for the club card points (then I transfer the money from my account into a separate account that pays off the card in full each month)

Thought I had found 10p today, bent over to pick it up.... Not easy at 35 weeks pregnant, to discover it was just a shiny silver disc :( how disappointing :rotfl: oh well... Maybe tomorrow I shall be luckier :)

Are peeps adding their eBay sales to the pot too?

Well DS is right as nine pence, and I got the pleasure of collapsing in our local waitrose (if any of you are the middle aged lady who kept my daughter amused while I was stuck on the floor, thank you :rotfl:) think I scared the checkout lady, she kept looking at me sat on my heels hanging onto the conveyor belt obv trying to weigh up if she should talk to me, and finally said 'are you all right?' so I had to do the whole disabled speech (I really need to write it down so I can just hand it to people) and she asked if I wanted to go sit on the bench at the end of the till . . . I unfortunately couldnt get off the floor, so had to reassure her I was fine where I was :o

Anyway I remember paying and I 'think' it was with my card, I do remember numbers . . . . and drove us home . . . and collapsed there :( seems whatever DS had he has happily passed to me and now I feel awful, though the headache has gone finally :o so no pennies for the pot unless DH jingles as he walks past me :(

Now I feel like I've passed some sort of initiation test!

    Hoppy patting everyone!

Hi all I potted 99p this evening, I only had it cause I put £10.01 worth of petrol in my car which was quite annoying for the cashier but not for my pot.
