  • I haven't potted all week, but don't feel bad as I have not spent anything all week at all, feel really proud! for the first for as long as I remember I'm heading for a month of not dipping in to the overdraft!

i've never had any roadkill, so maybe that should be my new hobby to keep the potting up!

    Happy potting all :j

Evening all, just 70p in the pot tonight 1p of which was smkill from Mr S.
We have found quite a few notes over the years, there was a £5 under a bush down the road from home a few months ago. The most surprising was when i boarded a bus a couple of years ago, a £10 note on the floor right by the ticket machine. There were no passengers on there so it must have been from the last one off or it would have gone before I got on. It was desperately needed at the time so I was very grateful for it.
Hugs to all and good luck with all your potting.
    Be Well.

Have potted few coins over the last week not sure how much.I have not managed to pot anything today did not spend anything so no change in my purse.I did however manage to swap my saved 5ps with my sister [shes saving them],so potted £5.20 yesterday.:rotfl:

Have however been robbed of £2 from my 5 year old and 7 week old nieces. The 5 year old always posts my change in the sealed tins when she comes making sure they go in right pots, shes very good checks my handbags and purse plus shes learning her mathes and money values while shes having fun.Only this week she remembered about their pots so potted £1 in each, from my money :eek:seams she know which are best coins already. shes decided her sisters is for nappies and as i am taking her to see westlife she can buy herself something from there.

might just have to start potting the bigger coins before she comes if shes going to start sharing it 3 ways.;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it helps so very much.

Susanne, you're welcome, but coul you please pop your number on your signature for me? To do so, go to "User CP" top left on green bar, then click on "Edit Signature" and voila! Thank you.
I did feel a bit sorry for the person who had lost it but there was no way of finding out who had lost it.

DH & I really felt so very sorry for the poor soul who lost the £40 we found, but that's about all you can do when there's no one around! If there had been anyone near by (without saying the sum) we would have asked if they'd lost any money, but more than that you can't do if there's not a soul around!

    Well done on yours too!

Get yourself some weights, Crunchy Nutter so you work the hobnobs or any other calories off!!!

If the Tat is something that appeals to you, ljaneyr then why not! We all deserve a treat - though I'm not having one for sure!!!

Save your work as you type, rosyq! That way you still have it if it crashes.

Oh bad luck, ladsmadd, bet you'll let them do it all over again too!!!:rotfl:
Have a wonderful Friday everyone and wrap up warm!

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning everyone
£2 for the sealed pot set aside for when I get home later, going to Mr. M's later, so hopefully some more road change & extra coins for the sealed pot.

A very warm welcome to our newest members, welcome to the best thread on MSE

Spent an hour at the walk in centre last night, to be told, keep taking the paracetamol & the cough mixture, so there's anhour of my life I'll never get back! Still feeling rubbish and still unable to talk (Stop it you lot!), I can hear the cries of YAY as I type.

Have a great day everyone, stay safe & keep saving

I think I'd better - although I keep telling myself I must have burned some calories walking round the corner to the shop and back :D
