    Afternoon everyone
Thanks for the well wishes, I do feel rotten but I'm still in work and I've not run off to my bed, going to the walk in centre on the way home, see if I can get something to shift the cough.

£2 going into the sealed pot when I get home, plus 5 X £2 coins & 4 X 50p's for the Chicago & New York spending fund 2013.

6 weeks (42 days but I'm not counting!) today at 5pm UK time we'll be on the approach to Newark for a 7 night stay in New York, sooo looking forward to it.

I am hoping for some roadkill on the way home....I am going to be searching hard.

    Has anyone found noteage roadkill?x

Me! As most of them say on here I'm a master at it apparently. This year alone I've had 2 X £5 notes & 1 X £10 note, just for looking down at the ground. My road change pays for the MoT, tax & a tank of petrol for my Vespa, this will be the third year that someone else has paid this for me. :D I open the road change pot on the 31st March and start a new one on the 1st April (All fool's day!) ;) for the people who carelesly drop change on the ground, I thank you

samtoby, I haven't had any roadkill, coinage or noteage, for ages :(, I have in the past, however, had some lucky finds, a 1.00 note when I was a child doing a paper-round, a 10.00 note was stuck with rain water to my patio stone flags, and a 20.00 note was found in some bushes at an out of town shopping centre on the outskirts of Inverness. The fact that I've remembered each and every one of these shows the significance of the memorable occasion. :rotfl:

Sparky, << hugs>> to you and your missus, hope you both feel better soon.

Me too. I don't find as much as Sparky, but I have found the odd tenner now and again. Years ago I found a tenner on the floor in the post office so I handed it in expecting it to go into a charity box or something. So I was very surprised when three months later they sent it to me in the post, with a note saying no-one had claimed it so it was mine. :):):)

  • Hi everyone!

I'm another one who has found you all because of the weekly email - I made a sealed pot last night with sticky tape and an empty food tub and I would love to join you this year. :)

I don't have a target, and I'm not going to keep track of the total. I'll just pop coins in every now and then and see where we end up. :D

I do most of my usual saving 'virtually', so this will be for a nice little bit of extra treat money next christmas.

Post Office doing that! Thats amazing!

I do look but Bournemouth is one of those places where there are a lot of passers by and Roadkill might be everywhere but probably picked up. I don't usually go out at lunch and only at weekends but I hope to be a bit more observant and hope that its just me and there is Roadkill for me xx
