Just potted 2.40p thanks to the hens, but some mean person has just stolen a tray of 30 very large eggs and not put any money in the honesty box. They may think it's funny but I still have to feed the little dears no matter what. the word 'mean person' is quite a kind word on how I am feeling at the moment.
Ok and sorry, as I know its a minor problem compared with what some of you are going through - moan over.

    Hi zafiro 1984,

Don't apologise for having moan, you've every right to be angry at the 'mean person', they've stolen from you and there's no two ways about it. I'm sure you wouldn't begrudge anybody a couple of free eggs if they were truly down on their luck and having a hard time finding their next meal, but to steal 30 eggs is just shameful behaviour.

Please don't stay angry too long as they (the mean person) just aren't worth it.

I found my old parking purse in the car at the weekend and decided to empty it into my sealed pot. Got about £3 so that was a nice unexpected find. Have had another NSD today so that makes a total of 5 for 2012 so far :D. will spend some tomorrow as I have to go out for some bits n bods so any silver left over will go into the pot along with any £2 coins. Even roped DH into the challenge so hope my dream of an american fridge/freezer will be achievable.

Dont worry about your moan at all, unfortunately there are a few dishonest people in the world who just dont care how their thefts affect others :(

I live in the country (just up the road are all the fields of carrots you lot like to buy from your local supermarket :D) and there is a very nice man who sells the eggs from his choocks. He has had to move his egg table into his grounds and has had a little hut built behind it, it is manned for most of the day due to some 'mean' people :(

I do not understand the mentality of people at times, when did we become a society of people who think if I can get away with stealing it then it belongs to me :(

No pennies in the pot today as ive not been out

How disgraceful! You moan as much as you like zafiro, it's people like that who spoil things for all. I hope they don't come back for more.
