So sorry to hear about your health problems, supasick, all the very best that things will work out well for you.
Such sad news, sparky, it's hard to take when folk are young(ish), commiserations to you & DW.chiefsfanuk wrote:My new years resolution is to give up smoking, which so far so good!! I am not going to put my regular cigarette spend in the pot, but I think if I have one of those moments of weakness/temptation I am then going to put the cost of a pack of smokes in my pot. It will be an extra incentive to stay strong!!
All best wishes for a very successful quit, chiefsfanuk!! I like the idea, good luck with it. If you need an ear try the Quitting smoking thread, also on Debt diaries.
What a brilliant start, Jen_Jen1985.

Bet you're chuffed with your terramundi, roguexuk, I love mine. Just be sure never to smash it!Joyce_M wrote:2 days ago I finally found 2 x 1 penny pieces! They were wedged in the crack of the pavement so I grabbed a nearby bit stick and dug them out. Totally forgot where I was, in the middle of the city surrounded by people walking to work. Drew some pretty funny looks I must say
What an image, Joyce! :rotfl:Hadn't you better take a stick in future, just in case one isn't at hand.
You've hit upon a great technique, BlueCow, stick to it. :grinheart

Hi, would it be ok if I join you all? We are saving every penny towards IVF in the next couple of months so I wouldnt be able to save a great deal until after then though?
I am planning to ebay everything that hasnt been touched / looked at in the last year. Obviously, not everything.... I love my skinny jeans that I havent worn in 3 years, but I just know I will fit into them this year
Im a huge fan of couponning too, so hopefully will take what I save and put it in the tin. The only problem there is I always mean to but never remember to!:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

Hi Peeps,
Big well done to Starnac and Sue with your paper roadkill and Sparky for your paper pocket find, I think for the next 24 hours I will be known as Skerfuffle, and we'll see if the name change brings me any luck
