Morning all!
Just had some brilliant news. In November, had a letter to say I'd underpaid tax between 08-10 by £960. As hubby needed to speak to HMRC this morning, I also spoke to them to arrange payment and apparently, they had duplicated my underpayments. I had the pleasant surprise that I was in fact within the tax code and I don't owe anything!
Great start to 2012!

Put about £2.50 in yesterday and I just know some more will find its way in today... It's amazing how motivating this thread is!0

Today will be a spend day. I'm excited to look for roadkill :rotfl:potting#16900

51p so far today and I'm going into town later maybe I'll find some road kill. I once found a £20 note on the floor in a pub and when I asked around no-one claimed it! I didn't have a pot then of course so it bought a lovely lunch for us all :j
And thanks to all my MSE reading over the last couple of days I've opened an ISA and posted my first item to sell on Amazon. I am one happy, motivated saver, thanks to the enthusiasm & support shown all over the forums. :T:T:TThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi Sue another request to be added to the list please unless I just can't see me amongst the hoards.
Many thanks xHere dead we lie because we did not choose

Crunchy nutter - I'm liking the NFD, well, not really - but you know what I mean!
A grand total of £7 in the pot today.
I used up two items from my tolietry stash, so £1 for each of those.
Then I realised there is a 'beauty' TSV on QVC today - which I WILL NOT buy, as I DO NOT NEED IT! For each time I resist this temptation I intend to pot £5 - I would have spent £60 on the products, so it really is a saving!!
