And I'm so pleased I read about Coinstar a few pages back. I was planning to take my pot to the local supermarket but now I know I can take it to a Barclays not far from where I live and use one of their coin deposit machines.
I think I've managed to round up about £12 in 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p coins in the last few days.

Friend gave me a gym pass today, hurrah! No cost and a kick-start to my fitness drive. And meant I didn't have to tun hot water on at home as had my shower there
I cleaned out my gym bag and found 26p. Also 9p left over from grocery shopping = 35p for today.................
