Wow, you gals/guys are going great guns . Happy to report 32p has been safely put into the pot
. Just saw it lying on the kitchen table and thought, 'i'm having that'
.
Just want to add i'm hugely jealous of the 'terramundi pot brigade' on this thread. Saw some in a local shop but can't afford them. But they are sooooo lush, i'd just have them as ornaments they are that gorgeous! Guess my pound-shop money pot will have to suffice for now
.
Keep going potters, we're a fab bunch, aren't we :T. Hope you notice i included myself in that statement Sue. Your right i am now officially a potter too... and thanks for being so lovely to all us newbies:beer:

Good afternoon all. This is my first official post on this challenge although I've been lurking for quite a while now. I haven't got a sealed pot yet but I have put £3.80p in my old pot till I get one.
I've been using an Oxo Granule jar with the label still on. It looks just like all the other jars in the pantry but if I seal it and put a coin slot in it, it will be obvious it's a money box. So a-hunting I must go for a new one.
I've got a small pyramid money box for my 5p's but it doesn't hold more than £5.00 worth. I've been saving 5p's since they came out. I've had hundreds of pounds worth over the years. Even my family has caught the bug! Lol! I hardly ever see them now though. Which of you lot are hoarding my 5p's?!!! Lol! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

I've been happily putting all my loose change in my pot, but haven't been counting it - oops! So I shall from now on! We're having a new 3 piece suite on Monday, so tomorrow I shall be rummaging around the sides of this furniture hoping to find some change to stick in there0

Your Target's updated, gonnabedebtfree, all the best with it. An excellent start off anyway.mud_flower wrote:Just want to add I'm hugely jealous of the 'terramundi pot brigade' on this thread. Saw some in a local shop but can't afford them

I did indeed, mudflower, well done! :T However could I not be friendly to newbies, we were all one at first, and after all we MSE is our base and if we can't be friendly towards each other then it's so sad. Keenly spotted with the 32p, ! Re the Terramundi, keep an eye on charity shops as quite a few SPCers have bought them for next to nowt in them. You could always ask for one for a present. I do use mine as ornaments, how could I hide them?!!! For now your £land one will be perfect.:)luckycharlie wrote:No haven't seen her Really miss her bet if I put LC on the end of my post she will turn up though :rotfl::rotfl:
Must admit I miss her a lot too, LC 2 I do hope she's coming back, though I know she had issues with Firefox which maybe to do with her PC as I always use FF as my browser. Ah well, we'll soon found out - though she may be on holiday abroad, I wonder!!!
That's a good idea with cash that that doesn't fill a bag to the right amount, SuzytheFloozy. BTW, your Target's updated.
For now, ModestyB, why not put some wrapping round your Oxo Granules jar. BTW you say this is your first official post on here, but I remember you causing havoc for me yesterday!!!It wasn't me that pinched your stash of 5ps, but...

It could well have been jakes-mum! She's been trying to get £2ers from her Mum today....see..^ :eek:RhiBi wrote:I've been happily putting all my loose change in my pot, but haven't been counting it - oops! So I shall from now on! Hi Rhian, you don't have to count your money..well you can but not to put the amount down exact on your sig. We just put on here roughly how much we're put in then forget it so it's a surprise. We only put the amount on here to encourage others..ourselves too. Re the furniture...turn it upside down and shake it out!!! :grinheartSee you all later
