  • Here its calm so must live in a different part from you -

Just put my first money in the pot £2.15. Am so glad I saved my £1s as friend and her daughter are going into town on Tuesday and have said why don't I come with, so hoping I can make myself be ok for the trip and have at moment £55 in £box so that will be enough for my share of taxi, some lunch and enough to buy some bits- have a £9.50 Holland & Barrett voucher they sent me from the Rewards for Life Scheme and didn't think I would use it as hubby loathes going to town, without the savings I could not even consider it. Not been into town for about 3 years and friend not in best of health so will just be a slow walk round till one of us feel time to come home. So keeping fingers crossed health will be ok :)
Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

    Hi,

Can I join please? Target of £500 made up through my terramundi for £2 and my savings account for odd pennies.

This is a fab idea - I managed to save about £460 last time and I'm more determined than ever....I will add the money I would have spent on rail fares if I was at work to this to cover holiday's.

    Thanks
    Candy

Spotted a 5p by the ticket machine at Liverpool street station last night but someone was using the machine. Made the OH stand with me in the middle of the concourse whilst we waited for them to go away and then quickly whipped it up into my purse hehehe. OH thinks I'm mad
