  • Member 159 reporting for duty!

I have never counted my sealed pot. I learnt to drive this year and in September when I had to start paying for parking I had to take money out for the parking machine. it was the only place I had any change.

However as I am fairly MSE Sainsburys refunds the the cost of parking! so I have nearly always got a refund.

Any how I shall start again with a new tin with a padlock :)

    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Hello all,

SueUU thank you so much for running the thread again for 2012 :A.

I was going to ask you to put my target at £250 ... but as you've already transferred my previous years target over then I'm going to aim for that £350 :D.

I'm putting my £2 coins in Jasper the Cat ( have £46 & carrying that over) as saving toward a fab new pair of boots & plan to put £5 a week in another pot towards next christmas.

I'm not starting that until January though ... there is Baileys to be bought first ;)

Hi nikki! Yes, you keep the same number and stay in year after year. I've just updated your Target, all the best with fulfilling it.

  • Hi Sue, thanks for this fred :D.

I bought a cheap money box thinking it was sealed but the lid fell off when i got home... ho-hum, is it still ok to join? :D.

Like many i'm trying to spend less and often leave debit cards and cash at home when i'm out. When i spend i usually pay by card so i don't often have loose change, but i'll do my best with this challenge.

I've no particular target, i'll just see how it goes...
    Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge # 89 - £00.83p
    Pay One Debt 2012 # 18 - BT debt £40
Sealed Pot Challenge # 1483 - no running total, just seeing how it goes :)

    Thanks Sue
I have had alot on since the middle of the year as well - I became a Weight Watchers Leader in May and it kind of took over my life - (and the reason for delving into my pot - needing change for meetings without a change card killed my pot this year) I am only now getting a good balance between working a 35 hour week and running 3 (soon to be 2) meetings a week and I have also been promoted at work so a bit more responsibility.
I will defiantely be keeping more upto date this coming year.

I understand what you mean about cash in a card orientated world, mud_flower, just do the best you can, for your sake. It really does help and better than not saving at all.

Oh, I can quite see how that would come about, Palema, that's life though and we need to live it. It must at least be enjoyable doing the WW as a leader; well done...for your work promotion too! See, you can't have it all ways, though it'll be good to see a bit more of you when you're able. All the best for this time around.
