  • £6.30 potted tonight. Money left over from School Xmas Fayre funds as we queued to see Santa so long we didn't get a chance to spend loads of money on other stalls. Result!

Oh my goodness, I forgot how fast this thread moves!

I have put my total in SPC4 and I have just put 5p into my empty pot. Not empty any more :D I know I set a target but I don't intend to count along the way, just gonna wait for a surprise on 29th November.

Thanks to Sue and Sparky for all your hard work.

Im new to this as well and at the mo Im using 2 empty pickle jars with masking tap over the top, shabby chic (actually forget the chic bit:rotfl:)
Im guessing they will fill up quiet quickly (fingers crossed) one for coppers one for silver.
I will take them to the "coin counter" machine at my local supermarket, bank it, then start all over again! :naughty:
    Good luck:beer:

-You do know that the coin machines in the supermarkets TAKE 8 to 10% of YOUR money for the privilige of counting it for you. Better off if you have an HSBC account their larger branches have coin counting machines which pay the money straight into your account free of charge, or try changing it at your local shops who will be happy to take it off you. HTH :D

Another 22p in tea room floor change this evening, the young lads in my work just seem to not like having change, so they throw it on the floor, must be waiting for some old fella (me!) to come along and pick it up
