morning all.
this is my first post on here.
i've started my saving with £3.20.it's in an old coffee jar at the moment but im in the middle of making a paper mache money box.the sooner it's finished the better.it's the only way to stop me raiding it.am going to add my number to my signature now.:)

Good for you. We lost my Mum to cancer 2 years ago and Macmillan were blooming fantastic.

Thanks for directing me here Sue. I am back in for another year. Really pleased with what I saved and hope to top it in this challange. I am setting a target of £310 to again help with my car insurance. I also need to pay a bit more attention when out and about for more roadkill!!

Morning Everyone

Can't keep up with all the post.

Just back from shopping with DH so sitting down with a cup of tea to get over the experience!!! Oh! it was such hard work. Went in card shop for a card for HIS nephew asked him if he was 5 this year." Who?" he says" David." We don't even know any children called David. Does he have a secret family? Does he even know his own nephews? Then we go into B & Ms to get some lights and he starts asking some poor random man whether he can test the lights. The poor fellow looked totally confused."Oh "says DH" I thought you worked here." The man had a coat on for goodness sake!!
He then blames me cos I confuse him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway a few pennies went in my pot. Last year I banked as I went along, but don't think I will this year as it's not so exciting!

hello everyone,

well im finally out and running..........had no change at all over the last day or two. This morning however i have potted 2 x £1 coins and then hoovered the bedroom to find 2 x 5p pieces on DH side off the bed !!!! He must have dropped them out of his trousers this morning.

so £2.10 safely tucked away.

cant make my mind up whether to set a target or not ....

Hiya LC 2. The more I hear about your DH the more it reminds me of mine, he's useless with ALL his family's birth dates and ages and detests shopping. Though..as yet he's not asked a member of public to display something for him!!! :eek: I shouldn't have put that..oh well.

number 879 would like to add my aim total please. i only put 1ps,2ps and 5ps in so ill just aim for 75.00 please as not sure if i will get much more than this, may add extra coins at the end of every week.

so far i have potted 12.85, carried over from last year
